Justin Ralph Wrathall, a Stephenville man charged in connection with an armed robbery on Jan. 3, 2017, has once again been released from custody.
The armed robbery took place at the Ultramar Gas Bar on Main Street in Stephenville and during the robbery it is alleged that while masked, he put a knife to the body of the clerk at the store.
He was released from custody shortly after the incident and for more than a year he lived under strict conditions of probation.

Wrathall, who is now 36, was arrested for breaching several of his conditions on Jan. 9 and taken back into custody when it was alleged he broke his curfew and in the company of another person with a criminal record.
He was in court before Judge Lynn E. Cole on Thursday, where she gave her decision on his release and despite his counsel asking for less restrictive conditions, the judge didn’t agree.
Wrathall is being released on a $1,000 surety, which is an amount Judge Cole felt would be affordable to the person putting it up on his behalf.
He is permitted to live in his own apartment on Silver Crescent in Stephenville, to keep the peace and be of good behaviour, remain in the province and report to the Stephenville RCMP detachment on Monday and Friday each week.
She also placed a curfew on him from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. and present himself at the door when called upon by the RCMP, to notify the court of any change of address and not to be in contact with the three people named.
He also has to not be within 30 metres of Stephenville Ultramar, not to have contact with a person who has a criminal record, refrain from alcohol and drugs – other than those specifically prescribed to him, not be in licensed establishments and a prohibition from firearms and ammunition.
Wrathall is not to possess a knife other than for a meal and not to change his address.
In court, he pleaded guilty pleas to the two Jan. 3, 2017 charges of committing robbery and disguised with intent, along with a guilty charged to the Jan. 9, 2018 charge of a curfew breach.
Crown Prosecutor Susan Gallant agreed to withdraw a second breach charge of him being in the company of another person with a criminal record.
In relation to the guilty charges he entered, Judge Cole set a court date of March 28 for facts and sentencing.
