Actor, comedian, author and dollar-a-dayer Mark Critch is offering free autographed copies of his upcoming book, ‘Son of a Critch’, to anyone who signs up as a donor to the A Dollar A Day Foundaiton between now and Oct. 31.
A Dollar A Day Foundation was established to raise funds to close the gap between the availability of mental health and addictions programs and the growing need for them and was founded by entertainer Alan Doyle, orthopaedic surgeon Andrew Furey and businessman Brendan Paddick,
“We are so pleased that our good friend Mark Critch has made this generous offer to the A Dollar A Day Foundation. Mark was one of the first people to sign up and pledge his support when we launched the Foundation back in February,” Paddick said in a news release.
“We are so grateful for his ongoing support. As we all know, mental illness and addictions impacts everyone. People from all walks of life; friends, work colleagues and family members. With Mark’s help and the help of all Canadians, we can ensure that more people with mental health and addictions challenges get the help they need, more quickly.”
Each individual who signs up at www.adollaraday.ca before Oct. 31 will receive an autographed copy of Critch’s book, being released through Penguin Random House Canada on Oct. 2. Donors can pledge monthly, quarterly or annually to suit their personal circumstances.
