The 58-year-old Irishtown-Summerside man is charged with drugging, unlawfully confining and sexually assaulting a girl under the age of 14.
He was released from custody following a mental health assessment in early July, but was taken back into custody when the two sureties who were to guarantee he followed the conditions of his release backed out of the release plan.
