Newfoundland fuel prices take a jump

Gas is up 2.9 cents per litre (cpl) as the Public Utilities Board set maximum prices for regulated petroleum products, except areas where maximum price adjustments have been suspended for the winter months.

The changes to other fuel prices are as follows:

• Diesel motor fuel will increase by up to 2.0 cpl.

• Furnace oil heating fuel will increase by 1.57 cpl.

• Stove oil heating fuel will increase by 1.57 cpl.

• Propane heating fuel will increase by 1.2 cpl.
