The provincial executive council was elected today (Thursday) at the biennial general meeting.

 The executive for 2017-19 include: Bill Chaisson (Corner Brook), Maureen Doyle-Gillingham (Ochre Pit Cove), Derek Drover (Gaultois), Craig Hicks (Carmanville), Kelly Loch (Victoria), Donna Reddick (Conception Bay South), Gabriel Ryan (St. Joseph’s/St. Mary’s Bay), Joseph Santos (Conception Bay South), Colin Short (Port aux Basques) and Chesley West (Paradise).

The president and vice-president were elected through a province-wide vote in December.

Dean Ingram of Clarenville is NLTA president for 2017-19. He begins his term on Aug.1. Trent Langdon of Mount Pearl is the new vice-president.
