At 10:29 p.m. the member of the Bay St. George RCMP observed a vehicle being towed out of a snow bank and he stopped to offer assistance.
The officer became suspicious and issued the breath test, resulting in the arrest.
The vehicle the man was driving was towed and he has since been released from custody on a promise to appear in court May 29.
