Police locate missing person Kayla Reid

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary in Corner Brook is reporting that Kayla Reid has been located.

In a press release issued early Thursday afternoon, police say they have been in contact with Reid and are no longer investigating her disappearance.

Reid, 21, was reported missing on March 3.

She was last reported to have been in contact with her family on Feb. 23 and it was believed she was in the St. John’s area.

The RNC release did not provide any information on where Reid is or the reason for her disappearance.
