The Corner Brook Royal Newfoundland Constabulary say there is no reason for public concern as it investigates the sudden death of a woman on Tuesday.
Sgt. Bobby Edwards said the RNC was called to a home on Poplar Road at 11:20 a.m. to attend to a sudden death.
At just after 3:30 p.m. he said police were no longer at the scene and the woman’s body had been removed from the home.
Edwards said the RNC is working with the medical examiners office on the investigation, which is in the early stages. He noted that the cause of the woman’s death had not yet been determined by the medical examiner.
