The Stephenville town council approved four permits and one outline planning permission during its regular general meeting this past Thursday.

Fairstone – permit to change the name, update signage and operate an existing financial service business – 90 Main Street.

J & C DouBois Limited, Canadian Tire Real Estate Limited – permit to change ownership of the existing Canadian Tire business – 54 Prince Rupert Drive.

Rose’s Auto Recycling – permit to construct a 40-foot by 100-foot building to accommodate an auto recycling business – Igloo Road.

Noel Estoppey – outline planning permission to subdivide land for the sale of a portion of the land at the rear of the property to an adjacent property owner – 125 West Street.

St. Stephen’s Parish – permit to do interior renovations to St. Stephen’s Parish Centre – 78 West Street.
