A 27-year-old man from Conception Bay South (C.B.S.) is facing multiple impaired driving charges following the death of man at the Humber Valley Resort on Feb. 19.
Thomas Whittle, 27, of C.B.S., has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death, impaired operation over .08 of a motor vehicle causing death, impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing death and impaired operation by alcohol of a motor vehicle causing death.
His snowmobile collided with a taxi on the road leading into the resort.
The 21-year-old passenger on the snowmobile was taken to Western Memorial Hospital with severe injuries, where he later succumbed to those injuries.
Whittle is scheduled to appear in court in Corner Brook to face these charges on April 3
