While conducting patrols in school zones in the Bay St. George area on Tuesday members of the Bay St. George RCMP ended up impounding three vehicles for no insurance.
A 22-year-old Piccadilly man was found travelling more than 80 km/h in a 30 km/h school zone in Port au Port East. He was charged with driving without registration or insurance, a suspended license and imprudent driving. His vehicle was impounded.
Later that morning around 10:45 a.m., police stopped a vehicle after noticing suspicious activity. A 37-year-old man from Stephenville was charged with driving without insurance and registration and his vehicle was impounded.
At 3:20 p.m., Bay St. George Police Dog Services were on patrol when the officer stopped a vehicle for having an expired registration.
A 28-year-old man was charged for driving without a license, registration or insurance and his vehicle was impounded.
