Undercarriage of tanker truck carrying propane catches fire in Corner Brook

No one was hurt, but the situation could have been worse, when the undercarriage of a tanker truck carrying highly flammable propane caught fire on Confederation Drive in Corner Brook Monday morning.

Traffic in the area had to be re-routed, but there was no major disruption to traffic flow as the scene was dealt with by the Corner Brook Fire Department and the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary prior to the truck being towed away.
