UPDATE: Lockdown over at Stephenville High School

The lockdown at Stephenville High School is over without incident.

Students have been released for the day. Poilce officers are remaining at the school until everyone leaves.

According to one officer at the school, there is no threat.

The RCMP presence outside Stephenville High School started earlir this afternoon.

Police vehicles were located at the back of the school and at one of the front entrances, some carrying weapons.
