Outdoor enthusiasts got a chance to take a ride in a Sherp — an amphibious, all-terrain vehicle that can climb up to a metre high and manoeuvre on any type of rough terrain — during a demo Tuesday at Rugged Edge on Lundrigan Drive in Corner Brook.
The vehicle, which is used for industrial purposes by large companies, made short work of some of the more rugged terrain on the west coast in a short period of time as it easily traversed to the top of a steep incline.
An impressive machine, it carries a price tag in the vicinity of $107,000 U.S.
