Visitor restrictions that were in place at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre in Stephenville Crossing have been lifted.
That’s according to a prepared release from Western Health who had said the restrictions were due to a number of residents on Memory Lane in the facility having influenza like illness.
To prevent the spread of infection Western Health asks the public to wash/sanitize their hands upon entering or leaving any of its facilities.
Anyone with flu like illness or gastrointestinal symptoms are asked not to visit any of Western Health’s facilities.
