Water outage to affect part of Curling and Mount Moriah

A portion of Curling and the Town of Mount Moriah will be without water for most of the day as the City of Corner Brook repairs an issue with the water distribution system.

Petries Street numbers 54 to 232 and all side roads, McLeod’s Lane, Snook’s Lane, Wareham’s Road, Dawe Place and all of Mount Moriah will be impacted.

The water outage will begin at 10:30 a.m. and last for six to eight hours.

In conjunction with the repairs, Petries Street will be closed to through traffic from the intersection of Hilliard’s Road to the intersection of Pike’s Avenue.

Once the water service is restored the area will be under a boil water advisory until further notice.
