TORBAY, NL — National figure skating icon Kaetlyn Osmond will be thanking her fans throughout Newfoundland and Labrador for their support this past season at an event in Torbay Sunday.

“Kaetlyn and friends” will be sharing her story through personal reflections, along with videos highlighting her season at the Jack Byrne Arena from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.. The Inspire NL event will also feature on-ice performances by some of the best skaters in the province, according to a press release issued today.
The Marstown native — the 2017 World Ladies silver medallist, 2014 Olympic silver medallist and 3-time Canadian Champion — became the first Canadian to win silver in women’s competition at worlds since Joannie Rochette in 2009.
Inspire NL states the hope is the event kicks off Osmond’s Olympic season with a warm Newfoundland and Labrador show of support.
