Non-resident salmon licences for the west coast of Newfoundland and Labrador are being processed and picked up by vendors.

They started to show up for purchase at locations in the region yesterday, June 15. People interested in buying them should check with their local vendors for availability, however.

Non-resident licences are expected to be available for purchase in other areas of the province next week.

The licences for non-resident cost $80 plus HST and a $5 vendor fee.
