CORNER BROOK
The Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of Newfoundland and Labrador (CFSEU-NL) Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Team has laid another 55 charges regarding child luring and child pornography against Oral Clarke.
The St. Jude’s man is currently serving a combined jail sentence of 38 months for previous convictions in June 2017 and March of this year.
Police believe that Clarke lured four additional young female children via a computer. Two of these victims reside in Canada and the other two live in the United States.
In the incidents for which has already been convicted, Clarke posed as a young boy using the alias Ammon Charlebois.

In June 2017, he was sentenced in provincial court in Corner Brook to 20 months in jail for possession of child pornography and unlawfully luring a child (under 18) by means of a computer system.
In that case Clarke posed as a 12-year-old boy while communicating with a 11-year-old girl in October 2015.
He initiated contact with the girl and engaged in sexually explicit conversations with her. He persuaded her to send him pictures of her breasts and vagina, and sent her pictures of an adult penis.
His latest conviction on March 27 for internet luring involved a girl who was between 14 and 16 years old when the offence occurred. Clarke had an ongoing conversation with the girl that included suggestions that he wanted to have sex with her over a roughly 17-month period from December 2014 and May 2016.
He received an additional 18 months in jail for that charge.
A press release from the CFSEU-NL says that Clarke is expected to appear in provincial court in Corner Brook on the latest charges sometime this week.
