For the third time in just over a year Oral Clarke has entered guilty pleas to charges related to child luring.
The St. Jude’s man is currently in custody at the Bishop’s Falls Correctional Centre on a combined 38-month sentence for convictions in June 2017 and March of this year.
During a provincial court appearance in Corner Brook on Tuesday afternoon he entered guilty pleas to six of 55 charges that were laid against him in April.

The charges are contained on four separate information sheets, each one dealing with a different alleged victim. The identities of the alleged victims, two from Canada and two from the United States, are protected by a publication ban.
The offences are alleged to have occurred between October 2014 and March 2016.
In three instances Clarke pled guilty to single counts of unlawfully luring a child (under the age of 18) by means of a computer system and the Crown conditionally withdrew five other counts of luring a child under the age of 16.
The fourth information contained 47 counts and Clarke pled guilty to two counts of luring, one for a child under 16 and one for a child under 18, and one count of accessing child pornography. The remaining 44 charges of luring were conditionally withdrawn.
The details of the most recent charges have not yet been made public.
In the incidents for which he’s already been convicted, Clarke used the alias Ammon Charlebois to contact with two young girls while posing as a young boy.
Clarke appeared via videoconference for Tuesday’s appearance with his lawyer, Jim Goudie.
Goudie will be requesting that a pre-sentence report be completed before Clarke’s sentencing hearing takes place.
He also indicated to the court that he’ll likely be making a charter application under Section 12 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
The matter was set over to Sept. 12 for status on the charter application. A sentencing hearing will take place on Nov. 28.
