St. John's, NL - The Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Public and Private Employees (NAPE) and Country Ribbon have reached a tentative agreement.
The agreement includes monetary increases in wages, and improvements in contract language, according to a news release.
“This tentative agreement means that our proud, dedicated, and hard-working members can continue to make high-quality chicken products right here in Newfoundland and Labrador. We are confident that our team has reached an agreement that will be satisfactory to members,” said NAPE president Jeremy Earle.
Full details of the tentative agreement will be released at the ratification meeting, which has yet to be scheduled.
