Augustus (Gus) Combdon

Pollards Point, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Augustus (Gus) Combdon announce his passing at the WMRH on February 3, 2018 in his 92th year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Ron of Toronto, Rick (Cathy) of Fort McMurray, and Claire Gorman of Corner Brook; grandchildren: Allison, Carter, Amber, Brodie; and many nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Gus was predeceased by his wife Florence (2011); father Silas; mother Lucy; brothers: Cecil and Elikem; and sisters: Leatrice and Lydia. Visitation for family and friends will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Sunday, February 4, 2018 and Monday, February 5, 2018 from the hours of 7 to 9pm from where the funeral service will take place on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 2pm from the Country Haven Chapel with Rev. Roberta Woodman officiating. At Gus' request, cremation will follow after the funeral service. Interment to follow at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Palliative Care WMH Foundation.
