Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Charlotte O’Brien (nee Mitchell) announce her passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Centre on February 7, 2018 at the age of 90 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Patrick (Cheryl), Calgary, AB, Ronald (Judy), Corner Brook, Dorothy (Kevin), St. John’s, NL, Catherine (Peter), Nova Scotia, Dave (Debbie), Nova Scotia, Albert (Janice), St. John’s, NL, Larry (Kim), St. John’s, NL, Joan (Doug), St. John’s, NL; grandchildren: Shelly, Nancy, Heather, Ronald Jr. Philip, Melissa, Kevin, Paula, Mary, Richard, Peter, Sandy, David, Bradley, Laurie, Melanie, Mark, Aimee and Douglas; as well as a large number of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Charlotte was predeceased by her husband Harold, daughter Valda (Richard) and parents Matthew and Annie. Visitation for family and friends will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Friday, February 9, 2018 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 10 am from the Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Parish, Mt. Bernard Avenue with Father White officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
