Edward David Collingwood

Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edward (David) Collingwood announce his passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at the age of 74. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 33 years, Gerine, his stepchildren: Jacqueline Penney (Derrick Batten), Jennifer Penney-Chaulk (Travis Chaulk); his grandchildren: Isaac Batten, Luke Batten and Adam Chaulk; sisters-in-law Edwina Martin, Marjorie Reid (James) and Eulah Howell, also a large circle of nieces and nephews and special niece Hilda Frances. David was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Bessie Collingwood. At David’s request cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at St. Luke’s United Church, Norris Point, Friday, August 17, 2018 at 2pm. Special thanks to Dr. Westby and staff of 4 South of Long Term Care Center in his final hours and also to Dr. Mark Smallwood for his years of dedication to David’s care.
