Pinchgut Lake, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eugene Keeping announce his passing at the Palliative Care Unit of Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at the age of 40 years surrounded by his loved ones. Eugene leaves to mourn his wife: Amy; children: Alexis, Hayden; parents: Ed & Ruby Keeping; brother: Grant; sister: Melanie and a large circle of family and friends. Eugene was predeceased by his son Dawson; grandmother and grandfather Keeping, grandmother and grandfather Pink; Aunt Wanda & Uncle Brian. Eugene was known for his great sense of humor, wit, sarcasm and perpetual tardiness. At Eugene’s request cremation has taken place and a celebration of Eugene’s life will take place on Monday, June 18, 2018 from Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road, from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Come to support the family and share a story in Eugene’s memory. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to a trust fund set up for Eugene’s children.
