Black Duck Siding, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Harold Thomas Young announce his passing on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing, NL at the age of 86 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his daughter Verna (Sedrick) Young; son Paul (Ada); grandchildren: Harold Jr. (Daniella), Jeffrey (Phyllis), Christopher (Susan), Tiffany; great-grandchildren: Liam, Connell, Maddie; sisters: Viola Lucas (Martin), Delcie Downey (Thomas), Meana Lucas (John Smith); brothers: Bernie, Jarvis and Fintan as well as many other family and friends. He was pre-deceased by his parents Anne and John Young; brother Martin Young; sister Mildred Macleod Young. Visitation will take place on Sunday, March 25 and Monday, March 26th from Fillatre’s Funeral Home in Stephenville Crossing between 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, March 27th 2018 at 10 a.m. from Assumption Parish, Stephenville Crossing with Father Edmund Dantes officiating. Inurnment will take place following the funeral mass in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Stephenville Crossing, NL. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted.
