Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marjorie Walsh announce her passing at the WMRH on Saturday, August 4th, 2018 in her 66th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her husband Robert of 47 years; her children: Tammy (Shawn) Pickett & Robert (Samantha) Walsh; her grandchildren: Kyle Pickett (Samantha Drover), Morgan Pickett (Hilary Eddison), and Haley Walsh (Matthew Marks); her great-grandchildren: Ivy Drover and Avery Pickett; her 7 sisters & 3 brothers; and also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Marjorie was predeceased by her mother and father, Alma & Stanley Parsons; and her brother Roger. At Marjorie’s request, cremation has taken place. Family and friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Tuesday, August 7th, 2018 from the hours of 7-9 pm and Wednesday, August 8th, 2018 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place at the Country Haven Chapel on Thursday, August 9th, 2018 at 10:30 am with Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted and/or memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
