Millicent "Miss Durdle" Park

Cox’s Cove, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Millicent Park announce her passing at Corner Brook Long Term Care on Friday, April 20, 2018 at the age of 95 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Boyd (Yvonne) of Corner Brook, Alvin (Linda) of Halifax, NS, Iona (Ike) of Ajax, ON, Shawn (Lori) of Cambridge, ON; son-in-law Lyle Payne (Doris) of Cox’s Cove; grandchildren: Jolynn, Aaron (Cory), Terry (Michelle), Kelly (Rodney), Marcel (Danielle), Staci (Craig), Jennifer (Ryland), Janis , Allison (Andrew), Janelle (Andrew), Melissa and Megan; 24 great-grandchildren; special friend Jean Murrin, and brothers and sisters-in-law. She was predeceased by her husband Cecil, daughter Melvina, parents George and Bessie Durdle, sisters Margaret and Emma, brother Raymond, parents-in-law Frederick and Pricella Park. A special thank you to all the staff at Corner Brook Long Term Care, especially Raspberry Road for your great kindness and Compassion of Millicent during her stay there, words cannot express. Visitation will take place from the Epiphany Anglican Church in McIver’s on Sunday, April 22nd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., from where Funeral service will take place on Monday, April 23rd at 2 p.m. with Rev. Mario Melendez officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, McIver’s. As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
