Corner Brook, NL It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Phyllis Joan Williams announce her passing at the Palliative Care Unit of the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Sunday, March 4, 2018 in her 69th surrounded by her loving family. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her beloved husband David Williams of 52 years; her two daughters whom she loved dearly, daughter: Debbie van Staden (Anton), their children: Marc, Cheyenne and Rene; daughter: Krista Nadeau (David), their son Ethan. She also leaves to mourn her seven sisters: Dehlia Weber, Linda Thomas, Mary Reynolds, Grace Doyle (John), Sylvia Donnelly (Grant), Judy Simms (Doug), Jenny Domenie (Don); brothers: Bill Wheeler (Judy), Chris Wheeler, Roy Wheeler (Leona); and also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Phyllis was predeceased by her parents Chris and Doris Wheeler, niece Sandra Wheeler. Visitation for family and friends will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road, on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm from where the service will take place at the Country Haven Chapel on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 2 pm with Pastor Johnathan Gascoyne officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted and/or memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
