Rowella Edwina Layden

Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rowella Layden announces her passing on Tuesday, March 6, 2018. She was in her 85th year. Rowella was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She leaves to mourn her husband Granville and her children Joy (Gary), Paul (Karen), Keith (Elaine), and Sherri (David); eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; sister Verna; brothers Dorman (Ella), Don (Shirley), and John; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by parents John and Minnie Locke, brothers Ellis, Otto, Wallace, Maxwell, Clayton and Eric, and sister Myrtle. A private family service will be held, with interment at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army Corner Brook Temple.
