Cox’s Cove, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late William Simon Park announce his passing at the WMRH on Sunday, February 4, 2018 in his 73rd year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife of 53 years Millicent (nee Bishop); sons: Barry, Blaine (Patti-Lou); daughter Renee (Paul); daughter-in-law Ethel; grandchildren: Mitch (Courtney), Jordan, Simon, Noah, Lucas and Jaden; great-grandson Brayden; step-great-grandsons: Caden and Kylan; brothers: Irvine (Yvonne), Clarence (Judy), Elvis (Heather); sister Grace (Reg); special nephew Baxter (Nancy); sisters-in-law: Martha, Mary, Jean (Baxter), Jenny and Phyllis; aunts, nieces, nephews and a large circle of friends. William was predeceased by his son Gilles; parents: Irvine and Pearl Park; grandparents: Simon, Amy, William and Mary Park; brother Samuel; parents-in-law: Ernest and Bessie Bishop; brothers and sisters-in-law: Heber, Herbert (Doris), Ernest Bishop, Bertha (Harrison M), Bessie (Harrison S.), Ralph Sharpe and Absolem Sheppard. Visitation for family and friends will take place at the St. Nicholas Anglican Church, Cox’s Cove from the hours of 7 to 9pm Tuesday, February 6, 2018 and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from where the funeral service will take place on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 2pm with Rev. Mario Melendez officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, and/or memorial donations can be made to the St. Nicholas Anglican Church Fund or a charity of one’s choice.
