Pasadena hosts Canada-Cuba Goodwill baseball tournament

On Saturday Pasadena hosted a Canada-Cuba Goodwill baseball tournament at Bennett Field in Pasadena.

Teams included Team Canada (Pasadena), Corner Brook and Grand Falls-Windsor and a team from Cuba.

Also at the tournament and part of the Canada Goodwill Baseball Program were former Major League Baseball player Bill (Spaceman) Lee and his son Andy Lee. The Saturday afternoon game between Canada and Cuba ended with a 7-2 win for Canada.

The Canada-Cuba Goodwill games are about a lot more then just baseball, as the lines for handshakes turn into hugs at the end of Saturday afternoon’s game.
