Kennedy, through email, said Mayor Jim Parsons and staff members met with the curling club executive Thursday to discuss issues with the ice plant.

The 2017 curling season has been delayed for a month now as city officials try to fix the problem.

Kennedy said the City is working with the executive to carry out a plan that will get the system running as soon as possible.

Preparations are being made now, he said, to drain and clean the glycol system.

Kennedy said it’s anticipated that this work will take a week to complete.
