The 6-5 win improved Gushue and his Bally Haly Golf and Country Club team of Mark Nichols, Brett Gallant and Geoff Walker to 8-2, alone in second place heading into Thursday afternoon’s 15th draw.

The game was a preview of Friday’s playoff game between the top two seeds as both teams were guaranteed a top-two finish.

Jacobs remains on top at 9-1.

Gushue is scheduled to play Quebec’s Jean-Michael Menard in Thursday’s final draw.
