Peckford hauled in two touchdown receptions from Broncos quarterback Ryan Barry, and picked off Raiders quarterback Bill Avery for another score in a 23-6 Corner Brook Coors Light Touch Football League win at Wellington Street Sports Complex on Sunday.
Mark Hillier also grabbed a touchdown toss in the win.
Barry wasn’t perfect in the victory, as he threw four picks himself, but also ran in a two-point conversion.
Peter Rose scored a one-point conversion, while Josh Inniss recorded two sacks.
For the Raiders, Colin Dunphy and Pat Fewer were bright spots, pulling down two interceptions each. Chris Bulger had a sack.
Matt Walsh caught the one touchdown pass from Avery.
In other action, Greg Whelan three three touchdowns as the Pirates beat the Falcons 19-12.
Jeff Hull came down with two of those throws, while Mike MacPhee scored on the other.
Paul George scored on a one-point conversion.
MacPhee had two picks, while Whelan and George each had one apiece. Phil Oake registered one sack.
Josh Skinner and Tyler Wells both threw a touchdown pass and an interception in the loss, while Ryley Nadon also saw time under centre, throwing two picks.
Brad Dyke mustered one sack in the losing cause.
Elsewhere, Marine Lounge edged the Golden Gophers 7-6.
Robert Wheeler was the difference-maker, scoring on a one-point conversion. Harry Patterson connected with Adam Anderson for the lone touchdown.
Patterson also threw two interceptions.
Steve Huxter recorded an interception for the Mariners on defence.
Steve Hynes threw a touchdown and a pick in the loss, with the score going to Daniel Smith.
