The Dennis GM Western Kings ran into some rough weather on the east coast this weekend — metaphorically, at least.

The Kings were swept in a two-game set against the East Coast Blizzard, dropping a 5-0 decision Sunday following a closer 4-3 loss on Saturday.

On Sunday, the Blizzard got markers from Jack Keough, Brendan McCarthy, James Kennedy, Michael Currant and Greg Kehoe in the five-goal win.

Jordan Blackwood recorded the shutout, with Bradley Power suffering the loss in the Kings net.

In Saturday’s game, McCarthy put up a hat trick performance, while Keough added another in the 4-3 triumph.

Noah Legge lit the lamp twice in the loss, with Brayden Ryan adding the other goal.

Shawn Hurley secured the win in the Blizzard crease.

Power came away with the loss.
