ST. GEORGE’S Defending champion Central Service Station ran its winning streak to nine games and advanced to the final for the third-straight season with an 8-3 win over Skinner’s Pharmacy Sunday night.
MacKenzie Noseworthy had three goals and two assists to lead the offensive charge for the winners in sweeping the Bay St. George Ball Hockey League best-of-three semifinal affair.
Jason MacIsaac had a two-goal game for the winners, while Chris Rose, Mike Hawco and Sheldon McIsaac added single tallies to the scoring parade.
Dennis Critchley, Elvis Barron and John Walsh scored for the pharmacy boys in a losing cause.
Meanwhile, Clancy’s Pub evened its best-of-three series at one game apiece with a convincing 13-2 win over Harvey Gale & Son at the Siki Bennett Memorial Stadium.
Brandon Nicholas was the offensive weapon for the pub crew with a five-goal performance in a lopsided Game 2.
Dylan Noseworthy, Josh White and Brandon O’Neil had two goals apiece for the winners.
Tyler Cornect scored both goals for the opposing side.
