Corner Brook Regional High Titans stay alive in high school hockey playoffs

The Corner Brook Regional High Titans stayed alive in the West Coast High School Hockey League playoffs on Tuesday night at the Stephenville Dome by posting a 4-2 victory over the Stephenville High Spartans.

That cuts the Spartans’ lead in the best-of-five semifinal series to 2-1, with Game 4 slated for 6 p.m. Monday night in Corner Brook at the Kinsmen Arena II.

Brent Eason, Riley Rafferty, Evan Gallant and Matthew Bonnell (ENG) lit the lamp in the win, while Tyler Burton recorded two assists.

Sam Watkins and Brady Marche responded for the Spartans.

Danny Walsh earned the win in goal over Tristan Hynes.

That cuts the Spartans’ lead in the best-of-five semifinal series to 2-1, with Game 4 slated for 6 p.m. Monday night in Corner Brook at the Kinsmen Arena II.
