Logan March poses for a photo next to a Carey Price poster during his birthday gift trip to Ottawa to watch his idol and the Montreal Canadiens play the Ottawa Senators.

That’s how 10-year Logan March reacted when handed an autographed 8 x 10 photo of his idol Carey Price before a Montreal Canadiens road game in Ottawa — a trip made possible by his mom Natasha Lavers — who surprised him with the trip for his birthday earlier this month.
Logan had hoped to meet Price in person during his venture and he shared his desire through social media before going to the nation’s capital, but it never transpired.
But, obviously he got somebody’s attention.
Once they were in their seats, a woman with the Canadiens organization approached them and asked if she could have a few minutes to chat with Logan.
The woman explained that Price had to leave immediately after the game, but he wanted her to deliver a message to Logan.
“I realize you’ve been a goalie for a while and I’m very proud of you. Keep it up bud.”
Logan wears No. 31 for his atom hockey team in Corner Brook. It’s safe to say his teammates have heard a few of his stories by now.
