Neary lights the lamp at ball hockey worlds

Shawn Neary scored a power-play goal on Thursday as his Team Canada 2 club earned a 3-0 decision over Team Greece at the 2016 International Street and Ball Hockey Federation Masters Championship in Banff, Alta.

The 43-year-old Corner Brooker anchors the blue-line for one of three Team Canadas competing in the tournament.

Neary’s goal came at 7:26 of the third period, assisted by Chris Morrison Jr. and Paul Musto.

Morrison Jr. and Claude Turmelle provided the other goals for the Canadian club.

Neary and company suit up again today versus Slovakia.
