CORNER BROOK The Conception Bay Regional Atom A Renegades were too much for the home crew as the Corner Brook Atom A Royals lost the Tuesday morning game here at the Pepsi Centre by a score of 6-1.
The Renegades potted two goals in each frame en route to the win. Mitchell Searle and Kyle Tibbo posted a pair of markers apiece, while Lucas Lush and Tyler Borden provided the rest of the offence.
Blake Skinner scored the lone Corner Brook goal unassisted and short-handed in the late minutes of the third period.

Avalon Atom A Celtics 9, Northeast Atom A Eagles 3
Clarke Bishop and Luke McCaw led the way to the victory with two goals apiece, while Nathan Yetman, Adam Holwell, Brett Vokey, Adam Caines and Luke Tremblett did the rest of the damage.
Tyler Boland notched a pair of markers in the loss for the Eagles, while Jonathan Cooper also potted a goal.
St. Johns Atom A Capitals 9, Eagles 1
Bradley Power registered a hat trick leading the Capitals to this win. Also scoring for the Capitals were Liam McDonald, Marc Pitcher, Eddy Rumsey, Cody Donaghey, Tyler Tobin and Liam Maher.
Eagles captain Tyler Boland was the lone goal scorer for his crew.
Renegades 4, Capitals 3
Kyle Tibbo completed a hat trick late in the third with a game-winning goal lifting the Renegades over the Capitals 4-3. Tyler Borden scored the other goal for the victors.
Matthew Smith, Bradley Power and Tyler Tobin registered the goals in the losing effort.
Philip Hann won the battle between the pipes over Christopher Smith.
Following Day 2 action it looks like Renegades will meet the Celtics in the championship. Both have 3-0 records a tie that will be broken when the two crews meet at 9 a.m. today. The last round-robin game of the tournament slated for 10:30 a.m. with pit the Capitals against the host club, both have 1-2 records. Meanwhile the Eagles finished up Tuesday with an 0-4 record.
The top two crews will meet for the championship at 4 p.m.
Meanwhile in results from Tuesdays action at the Atom D Minor Hockey Tournament in Rocky Harbour it was: Labrador West 13, Gros Morne 3; St. Anthony 6, Stephenville 4; Corner Brook 8, Gros Morne 2 and Labrador West 12, St. Anthony 2. On Monday it was Corner Brook 9, Stephenville 1; Gros Morne 10, St. Anthony 5; Labrador West 11, Corner Brook 5; Stephenville 5, Gros Morne 3.
