Doug King, Matt Colbourne, Chris Kelly and Matthew Bonnell also got on the board for the Titans, who earned their first win of the young season.
Jared Bartlett (2) and Jacob Bennett replied for the Lakers, who suffered their first defeat.
The Lakers got off to the start they wanted, earning a 2-0 lead during the opening period.
Bartlett’s first goal of the game came at 11:39, from Brandon Smith and Jonathan Guy.
Bennett made it a 2-0 game at the 3:01 mark, with Josh Oake and Mason Campbell picking up the helpers.
King got the Titans rolling at 7:38 of the second, scoring off a feed from Colbourne.
Colbourne himself then evened it less than a minute later, at 6:58, from Forsey, sending the two teams into the second intermission tied at two.
At 12:01 of the third, Kelly provided a power-play goal to put the Titans ahead.
Ashley Bromley registered the assist.
Forsey’s goal came at 6:43, from Bonnell and Karli Gale, giving his side the two-goal advantage.
The Lakers got one back with 1:23 left on the clock, with Bennett picking up his second of the evening from Oake and Guy.
But the Titans bounced back with a late one of their own, at 1:07, off the stick of Bonnell. Andrew Sacrey assisted on the goal.
Thomas Porter was the winning netminder, with Tristan Moss suffering the defeat.
In other league action Monday night, the St. James Regional High Saints also broke the goose egg in their win column with a 7-2 triumph over the Gros Morne Academy Panthers in Rocky Harbour.
Tristan Butt lit the lamp four times in the winning effort, while Nick Drover scored a pair and Andrew Clarke added a single marker.
Cody Way and Kyle Robinson fired back for the Panthers.
Mitchell Warren secured the victory in goal for his squad, with Cody Brown coming out on the losing end.
The Lakers still lead the league standings with a mark of 3-1-0, followed by the Panthers and Stephenville High Spartans, both at 1-1-0.
The Titans and Saints are tied at 1-2-0.
