The Wing’n It Marlins made a game of it through six innings, but the roof caved in on them in the seventh.

Anderson Traverse put up nice numbers at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs scored. Kevin Lasaga chipped in with a 2-for-3 effort, scoring once and collecting an RBI.

Josh Oake and Kyle Brown were both 2-for-3 for the Marlins in the loss.

Andrew Flood took the defeat on the mound, surrendering four runs (three earned) on five hits. He struck out eight batters, but walked six in his 6.1 innings of work.

Michael Lewis came in for a brief relief appearance in the seventh, getting tagged for two runs on as many hits, with two strikeouts and two walks.
