Andrew Flood led the way for the Marlins, scoring a run in a 2-for-4 day at the dish. Des Ball was 1-for-3 with a run scored.

The pitching victory went to Kevin Farrell, who went all seven innings, allowing two runs (one earned) on six hits, with five strikeouts and a walk.
