Western Building Products officially has Investors Group on the ropes in the Corner Brook Molson Men’s Broomball League final following a 6-0 win on Monday night.
That victory at the Corner Brook Civic Centre gives the builders a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five championship series, with a chance to close it out next Monday night.
Paul Prosper scored two goals in the win, with Martin Mantey, Shawn Jenkins, Gordie Scott and Cory Jones also found the back of the net for the victors.
Ian Jones recorded the shutout, while Pat Doucette took the loss in net for the investors.
