September marks the beginning of a new season for the Deer Lake Dolphins Swim Club.

The club's registration numbers are up this year and that means on most weekday evenings the pool at the Hodder Memorial Recreation Complex can be a busy place with swim team members jumping into the pool to do laps with the goal of getting better and faster.

On Tuesday, the precompetitive and competitive swimmers were practising at the pool.
