A four-run seventh inning helped propel the Rapid Power Bees to a 15-11 win against the KSAB Rangers in action from the Corner Brook Molson Ladies Fastpitch Softball League on Wednesday evening.

Lorna Lovell was crucial to the attack with three runs scored in a 3-for-3 night in the win at Ambrose O’Reilly Memorial Field.

Ashley Penney crossed the plate three times, with a single RBI, while going 4-for-5. Sandra Wells contributed two runs and two RBIs to the cause in a 3-for-4 night.

Donna Clarke’s 4-for-5 outing led the way for the losing side, with a run scored, while Karen Boldgar went 3-for-4, scoring twice. Moya Roberts cashed in one run in a 2-for-3 night.

Jillian Wells allowed 15 hits over seven innings in the pitching win, striking out nine batters, while walking seven.

Clarke took the loss for the Rangers, getting lit up for 21 hits, while striking out five and walking two.
