Sam Walsh takes instruction from Rosemary Ryan-Forsey, provincial track and field Special Olympics head coach, in preparation for going to the National Special Olympics track and field meet at St. Francis Xavier University at the end of July.
At the event selections will be made for the World Championships being held in Abu Dubai March 6-20, 2019. Sam, who trains out of the YMCA in Stephenville, is the daughter of Sheila Walsh, who helps out as a training coach.
