Regional Weather Forecast
A powerful fall storm that originated in the American mid-west is headed for Labrador. The accompanying warm and then cold fronts are serving up rain, rising temperatures and lots of wind: the west wind could gust as high as 110 km/h over central Labrador Saturday morning. As the intense area of low pressure slowly tracks north eastward, the wind will shift to the west and clearing will follow, for most! There’s some moisture in the cold air close to the low and that means snow for Labrador. Behind the storm, a fair weather system will slide in from the west, offering a fair start to the new week.
