This was a poem I wrote for the families in Newtown, Ct who lost their chidren in that horrible school shooting. I felt like what could I do to supprot them in their grieving process. I wrote this poem as a wonderful message of comfort and peace in knowing that their child was now an angel looking over them. I know of someone who lost their child at a very young age and saw the anguish and heartbreak they felt. If only I wrote this poem at that time maybe it would of help them process their grief. This poem will indoubtly shed a light at then end of the tunnel to know the children of this tragedy are forever in god's hands and the families suffering to know their child had a purpose in life for a short time and that is loving them and teaching love, understanding and laughter.
